A video grab of Trisha Krishnan during her visit to Tirumala temple on the day of Tamil Nadu’s verdict, which also coincided with her birthday.
Actress Trisha Krishnan on Monday offered prayers at the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara.
She, who arrived in the temple town the previous night, participated in the pre-dawn Suprabhata Seva.
However, beyond the spiritual significance, the timing of her visit drew attention as it marked her birthday and coincided with a crucial electoral moment in Tamil Nadu, where the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) led by actor-turned politician Vijay was emerging as the single largest party, disrupting traditional dominance.
The name of the actress had also occupied considerable political space in the bitterly fought elections for her reported acquaintance with Mr. Vijay.
Outside the temple, the charged atmosphere of election day briefly surfaced when a supporter, spotting her, exclaimed, “Madam, today’s results are ours and we are definitely winning.”
However, Trisha Krishnan remained composed and flashed a smile before leaving the place.
