The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning in 13 Telangana districts for Friday, June 19

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning in 13 Telangana districts for Friday, June 19.

According to IMDs latest bulletin, heatwave conditions are very likely to prevail at isolated pockets in Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal and Hanumakonda districts.

Additionally, thunderstorms accompanied with lightning and gusty winds are very likely to occur at isolated places in Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Adilabad, Kumaram Bheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Rajanna Sircilla and Karimnagar districts.

Hyderabad city and its surrounding areas for the next 24 hours will see a partly cloudy sky. “The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 39C and 29C respectively,” the bulletin said.
