Lokayukta complaint hearings in Bidar from tomorrow

Upalokayukta B. Veerappa will conduct hearings on complaints pending before the Lokayukta during his two-day visit to Bidar district later this week.

According to a release issued by Lokayukta Superintendent of Police C. Siddaraju, the hearings will be held at Poojya Shri Channabasava Pattadevaru Rangamandir in Bidar on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Notices have already been issued to complainants and the government officials concerned in cases registered with the Lokayukta. All complainants have been instructed to attend the hearings with relevant documents pertaining to their complaints.

The release clarified that the programme is intended solely for the hearing of complaints already registered with the Lokayukta. Mr. Veerappa will not receive fresh complaints from the public during the sittings.

Citizens wishing to lodge new complaints have been advised to approach the Lokayukta Police Station located opposite Bal Bhavan in KHB Colony, Bidar.

For further information, the public may contact the Lokayukta authorities, Superintendent of Police Ph: 9364062519, Deputy Superintendent of Police 9364062571, Police Inspectors 9364062672, 9364062673, 9364062674 and 9364062675, the release added.
