More rain, partly cloudy skies, and below normal maximum temperatures are likely in the national capital till June 4, as per the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
On Sunday, the Safdarjung weather station, which is considered the city’s representative observatory, recorded a maximum temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius, which is only 4.2 degrees below the normal and a minimum temperature of 23.3 degrees Celsius, which is 3.6 degrees below the normal, as per the IMD.
On Monday, the maximum temperature is likely to be 35-37 degrees Celsius and it is likely to increase gradually to 37-39 degrees Celsius by Saturday.
