Double delight for Iniyan – The Hindu

Grandmaster P. Iniyan of India clinched the gold in both Open rapid and blitz sections of the Commonwealth chess championships in Kalutara, Sri Lanka, scoring 6.5 points from seven games in both formats.

In the rapid section, GM Srihari secured the silver while GM Mitrabha Guha won bronze.

In blitz, GM Rohith Krishna finished with silver Srihari took home the bronze.

The Classical Open section was won by Guha while GM Ranindu Liyanage of Sri Lanka claimed the silver and Srihari finished with bronze.
