Advocate killed after SUV rams into him in suspected hit-and-run case in Hyderabad’s Masab Tank

Posted on May 23, 2026 By admin

An advocate succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment after sustaining grievous injuries in a suspected hit-and-run incident at Masab Tank on Saturday (May 23, 2026) morning.

The man, identified as Khaja Mohiuddin, was about to enter his parked car when the incident occurred. According to a CCTV video of the incident, he had opened the rear door of the vehicle to place a bag inside and was about to get into the driver’s seat when an SUV allegedly sped towards him and slammed into him before racing away from the spot.

Locals nearby rushed to his rescue and shifted him to a hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment. The Nampally police have launched an investigation into the case. Preliminary investigation indicate the SUV may have been waiting a short distance away before deliberately targeting the advocate and attempting to stage the attack as a hit-and-run incident. Further details are awaited.
