Maximum temperatures continued to soar across Telangana with three districts recording temperatures above 45℃ on Saturday, (May 17, 2026), according to data released by the Telangana Development Planning Society (TGDPS).

Bheemgal in Nizamabad district emerged as the hottest location in the State, recording a maximum temperature of 45.7℃ This was followed by 45.3℃ in Dasturabad (Nirmal) and 45.2℃ in Banswada (Kamareddy). Temperatures between 44℃ and 45℃ were recorded in Jainad of Adilabad district at 44.6℃ and Korutla in Jagtial district at 44.4℃.

The districts which recorded temperatures between 43℃ and 44℃ are 43.5℃ in Penchikalpet (Kumaram Bheem Asifabad), 43.4℃ in Bheemaram (Mancherial), 43.3℃ in Koheda (Siddipet), 43.2℃ in Kamanpur (Peddapalli) and 43℃ in Mudigonda (Khammam).

The districts which recorded temperatures between 42℃ and 43℃ are 42.8℃ in Thangallapalle (Rajanna Sircilla), Watpally (Sangareddy), 42.7℃ in Yeldurthy (Medak), 42.4℃ in Gangadhara (Karimnagar), 42.3℃ in Nampally (Hyderabad) and 42℃ in Quthbullapur (Medchal Malkajgiri).

The districts which recorded temperatures between 41℃ and 42℃ are 41.9℃ in Peddavura (Nalgonda), Keshampet (Rangareddy), 41.7℃ in Mellachervu (Suryapet), 41.6℃ in Chunchupally (Bhadradri Kotagudem), 41.3℃ in Mogullapally (Jayshankar Bhupalpally), Gadwal (Jogulamba Gadwal), Lingal (Nagarkurnool), 41.2℃ in Kuravi (Mahabubabad), Kotepally (Vikarabad), 41.1℃ in Mallampally (Mulugu) and 41℃ in Chinnambavi (Wanaparthy).

The districts which recorded temperatures below 41℃ are 40.6℃ in Dharmasagar (Hanumakonda), 40.5℃ in Nallabelly (Warangal), 40.3℃ in Balanagar (Mahabubnagar), 40.2℃ in Damaragidda (Narayanpet), 40.1℃ in Bhuvangiri (Yadadri Bhuvangiri) and 39.3℃ in Ghanpur (Jangaon).
