Increase pace of works at Zaheerabad NIMZ: Sangareddy Collector

The NIMZ is proposed to be spread around 12,300 acres, of which around 7,000 acres were acquired. It is being established for heavy industries to set up large scale units.

Sangaredry Collector Prateek Jain issued directions to increase the pace of development works at National Institute of Manufacturing Zone (NIMZ) (Zaheerabad Industrial Smart City) and provide necessary infrastructure by procuring machinery resources needed.

He along with Telangana Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation  (TGIIC) held a review meeting on Saturday (May 9, 2026) on the lands acquired, their fencing, pending issues and other aspects. Directions were issued to resolve the issues in acquiring lands. 

The NIMZ is proposed to be spread around 12,300 acres, of which around 7,000 acres were acquired. It is being established for heavy industries to set up large scale units.
