Posted on May 7, 2026 By admin

A 25-year-old man succumbed to injuries after he was allegedly stabbed by unidentified persons in Chilkalguda on Thursday night.

The deceased has been identified as Yavanna, a resident of Jawahar Nagar.

According to the police, Yavanna had come to Chilkalguda to meet his friends when he was attacked by a group of persons at Indranagar Colony at around 9.30 p.m.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the attack may have been linked to a love affair, though police said all angles are being examined.

The victim sustained serious knife injuries and was rushed to a hospital for treatment, where he succumbed to his injuries within about an hour.

Chilkalguda police registered a murder case and launched an investigation to identify and trace those involved in the attack. Further investigation is underway.
